Kyushu University Accepts IED Faculty Member

Engr. Lizbeth A. Mariano, Instructor 7, has been accepted as one of the six graduate school participants of the 2015 Human Science Summer School at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan with full scholarship from the said university. The summer program will start August 24 and end September 3, 2015 where Engr. Mariano will attend a series of lectures and laboratory sessions on ergonomics and human science.

The said faculty is expected to arrive at Japan on August 21 and return to the Philippines on September 4.

Kyushu University was a partner university of the University of the Philippines where Engr. Mariano is enrolled in a Master’s Degree in  Production Systems.

The financial support includes round trip tickets to and from Japan, accommodation, and meals. Participants will stay at a dormitory with a small kitchen and LAN.

The participants were selected based on academic records and supervisor recommendations.
